Curriculum vitae

Carlo Beenakker is an internationally well-known condensed-matter physicist. He has made many important theoretical studies dealing with quantum transport, random matrix theory, fluctuations, mesoscopic superconductivity and recently especially graphene.

Professor Beenakker has received several awards and prizes for his work, one of the most recent ones being the ERC Advanced Investigator Grant, starting in the year 2009.
