for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy on November 15th, 2002 at at 12:00 noon in auditorium F1 at HUT, ESPOO.
The opponent was Professor Eduardo Ducla-Soares from University of Lisbon, Portugal

A new lecture hall for HUT

This hall is now nearly finished just on the other side of the parking lot outside LTL. It is for 600 persons and fits quite nicely into the old building and the surroundings.
