My work focuses on the realization of a quantum heat engine, to investigate the emerging field of quantum thermodynamics using the toolbox of superconducting circuits; such as NIS bolometry, transmon qubits, and co-planar waveguide structures on silicon and sapphire substrates, all of which we fabricate in the Micronova cleanroom.
