Venue: | Lammi Biological Station, Lammi, Finland and Helsinki University of Technology, Espoo, Finland |
Objectives: | The intensive 10-day European Advanced Cryogenics School will provide 30 European students with training at doctoral level in the field of cryophysics and cryogenic engineering. The scientific and technical topics give the students the capacity to use, develop and design cryogenic instruments needed for research and industrial applications. The School will enhance the competitiveness of the European cryogenic research and industry. It will create strong links between participants from different countries. The participation of students from universities, government laboratories and industry will be encouraged, the courses being focused on their training needs in advanced technologies. The school follows the format developed for the first European Advanced Cryogenic School, organized by Dr. Henri Godfrin in Grenoble in September 2002 |
