Styles in Anthropology ===================== Please be sure to read this file before using our styles for Anthropology journals. Here you will find notes about any limitations in a style, along with tips about how you might work around those limitations. American Anthropologist -------------------------- In this journal, an author's name is supposed to appear only once in the bibliography. If your bibliography includes two or more works by the same author or group of authors, please see "Suppressing an author's name when a bibliography contains two or more works by the same author" in the Styles chapter of the EndNote manual. This journal format includes the translator for a journal article, and the general editor of a book section, if available. These fields are not currently defined in the Journal Article reference type and Book Section reference type in EndNote, but you can add them yourself. To do so, please refer to "Adding, Deleting & Renaming Fields" in the Reference Types chapter of the EndNote manual. If a paper delivered at a conference has been published along with other papers presented at the same conference, you should consider entering the paper as a Book Section rather than as a Conference Proceeding. That way, you will be able to include both the date and place of publication in your reference. The standard Conference Proceeding reference type in EndNote does not include fields for the year or place of publication. We don't advise that you use this particular style for book reviews.
